Great Yarmouth Round Table raise over £2000 for Local Children

Last year Great Yarmouth Round Table Chairman Oliver Hurren  ran 26 miles at the London Marathon raising £2000 for their Charity Account. This year he challenged the rest of the Members to do the same distance of 26 miles but instead of running he wanted them to canoe it!

Over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th March 2019 Tablers set off self sufficient with just food supplies, tents and life jackets, rowing 26 miles ending up in Great Yarmouth with hopefully the support of friends and family to cheer them at the finishing post. The money raised will go to the Chairman's Charity of Choice which this year is Local Children in need of help or support.

On day 1 they completed an extremely tough 15 Miles before setting up camp.  They finished the remaning 11 miles on Sunday reaching a sunny Great Yarmouth in the afternoon.

TEAM MEMBERS TAKING PART INCLUDED: OLIVER HURREN, LEE LINDSAY-CLARKE, MAX RANDALL, MATTHEW BOWLES, RICK STEFANETTI, JUSTIN MURRAY, PAUL TODD, DALE COCKRILL, SCOTT COZENS, LEWIS NICHOLAS.
